I’ve recently re-kindled my enjoyment of sewing and have shared a few dresses and skirts I have made the girls.  I also have been making a few skirts and outfits for myself.  It is really gratifying actually finding clothes that I like and fit.  

I made this dress this week for a graduation dinner I was attending.  It is called Sis Boom Jamie.  I found this beautiful material and thought it would go well with my coloring and I like the top which isn’t too revealing and because it has wide straps and elastic in a casing to prevent gaping.  

Next time I will definitely make some adjustments to the front bodice but it was really comfortable and I was able to place the invisible zipper – well, I pulled it out only 2 times and then placed it!  But, I was able to do it and I am less afraid of zippers now.
