My house has gotten an unexpected spring cleaning today and new pillows…and lots of hot water washes and extra hot drying of sheets and clothes…and one 6 year old girl who is totally excited about the day off of school with her mother and has been announcing our new friends to everyone we see.  (I grew up in the day where having lice was embarassing – not some sort of badge of honor- Whuck!?!)

Eight girls in her class so far have had it.  2 sent home today – 4 treated over the weekend …well, it’s a good time to put all of the winter clothes away…right???
