It is hard to believe that another year has passed.  We decided on the spur of the moment yesterday afternoon to get together with my friend Debra and her 4 kids to go to a New Years Eve celebration at a local bowling alley who were having a special Family Celebration from 6 – 9. 

It was a fun time(mostly).  They had hats and noisemakers and pizza and soda and an apple cider toast at 8:30pm for the kids. 

Addison hadn’t had a nap – enough said! 

Before the meltdown…

The rest of the kids did really well.  A local radio DJ was there and she had a bunch of give aways of free bowling that the kids loved participating in.  All of the kids are getting really good at bowling too.

After the party we came home and the boys tried to stay up.  Riley made it until about 11:30 but then fell asleep on the floor.  Matthew was the only one who stayed up.  We watched the last 2 minutes of Dick Clark’s Rocking Eve and then he went to bed and I stayed up to finish my book.
