We had a cubscout meeting last night.  Overall its was less of a disaster than I was worried about because the girls actually behaved moderately well.  Matthew and Riley enjoyed the discussion about families and heritage.  We got home about 8:30 pm and watched a move “Beezus and Ramona” which was cute and all of the kids liked it.

Today we all got up early and headed to the church for the cubscouts “Belt Loop Bonanza”.  This was a 5 hour time period of the boys going between 5 different rooms and working on different achievements to get belt loops.  It was a little hard because I had to get the girls to cooperate for 5 hours.  I had brought a fair number of supplies and snacks but there were a few tense times. 

The boys, on the other hand, had a great time!  Matthew was so excited – and they gave them the belt loops at the end of the day – most of the time you have to order them.  All in all, a good day for memories.
