Another loss for the boys on Thursday evening but they played really well and it was 4-2 at the end of 6 innings.  There were only 10 players so both Matthew and Riley got to play the entire game.  I was a little worried because I had picked up Matthew at 12:30 so he didn’t get his afternoon dose of medicine (which is given at 1:00) for his f/u appointment at the eye doctor. 

I am proud to announce that the boy in the outfield doing cartwheels was one of the other kids!

Riley hit the ball hard three times for his three times at bat.  He got on base only one of those times but I can see that by the end of the season he will be getting on base almost everytime.  At this stage, it is great that all he wants to do is hit the ball so …an out is just as good as a hit. 

Our two runs came on home runs by one the same boy in two different innings. 

Matthew was able to get a couple balls and he actually looked like he might get his bat on the ball at one time.
