…sun is out; still really wet but some idea that we might see a little drying ground.

Yesterday Riley asked to paint a piece of wood in the garage during the girls naps.  that wouldn’t have been too bad, but he basically soaked the wood, spread the paint to the garage floor and the old rug in the garage– then I saw paint on his pants, on the hardwood floor (in the pattern of the bottom of his sneakers) and last night around 8 PM saw the same patter on the rug going up the stairs…on.each.step!  Needless to say, the paint was put away and bedtime came early. 

things I am thankful for:  Sun after nearly 5 solid days of rain and kids who are ready to get out of the house and a son who is creativ but not necessarily clean!
