Today I sat down (finally) and went through my coupons and the Kroger ad. I got done with my work a little early and so I got there around 4:00. It took me 45 minutes, but I found everything I was looking for. Ended up getting 94 items…spending $98 and saving….

…wait for it…

…$99 !!!!!

This is the first time I have actually saved more than I spent. I got my first comments from the cashier and bag boy about how much I was saving. they really got into it…though the cashier was “I need to do this right because I don’t want another override like that other woman” – “she saved like $200! in coupons!” (okay I have something to strive for!).

Splenda bags ($8.19 on sale for $5.99 minus $1 coupon x 2)

Totino’s Pizza rolls ($3.29 on sale for $2.99 x 2 – $0.55 each for Daytona 500 special)

DiGiorno flat melts ($3.19 – $3.19 coupon for free flatbreat melts)

Kashi Pasta Meal ($4.59 – $4.59 coupon for free Kashi meal)

Kroger minimarshmallows (2 @ 1.39)

Domino Sugar (2 @ $2.99 – $0.50 each on sale – up to $2.00 free off sugar wyb 10 koolaid packages coupon x 2)

Koolaid – 20 packages @ 0.20 pp – 0.10 pp for sale – 50 cent coupon – doubled (so 20 packages for $1)

Betty Crocker brownies x 2 @ $2.98 each minus $1 each box minus $0.75 off 2 boxes)

2 Nabisco Ritz crackers @ $2.75 each minus $0.25 each sale

2 Wheat Thin crackers @ $3.28 each minus $1.28 each sale minus $2.98 x 2 for coupon which was buy one Nabisco Ritz, get one Wheat thin free

8 Kraft Easy Mac @ $1.09 minus 0.09 for sale and 4 –buy one get one free or $1 off 2 coupons

4 Velveeta cheese each $1.19 minus 0.19 for sale and 2 buy one get one free coupons

4 Oscar Meyer hot dogs @ $3.79 each minus $2.50 each for sale minus $3.79 for one free coupon; one $1 off of one coupon and one $1 off of two coupon.

4 Chef Boyardee Ravioli @ $1 each minus 0.12 each minus $1 off of 4 coupon

6 Ronzoni Healthy Start Pasta @$1.85 each on sale for $1.69 each minus 3 $1 off of 2 coupons

Grapes @ $4.64

Coffee @ $4.19 minus 0.40 sale

Blueberries 18 0z @ $4.99 minus $2.00 sale

8 Pringles @ $1.39 each minus 4 coupons for $1 off 2

$3 off for Daytona 500 promotion (buy 10 specific sale items and get $3 off)

Our cupboards are full and hopefully I will only have to do a quick fruit and milk run next week!
