…through the whole 3 day weekend…the constant “I wants” is driving me crazy. 

Today is Riley’s birthday.  I will write another post about my amazing  year old boy.  But, I didn’t sleep last night; tossed and turned and finally got up at 12:30 and watched TV until 2:30 or 3:00 and then fell asleep on the couch.  Got up at 6 am to go to my bed hoping for an hour of snoozing.   Nope!  one by one, Logan…then Addison…then Riley got up.  Amazingly, Addie remembered that it was Riley’s birthday and he led the 2 girls in a round of “Happy Birthday”.  It was cute. 

…then they started fighting and there were various crashes in Logan’s room…I finally got up and brought them downstairs.  This is when Riley started in…he decided he wanted French Toast for breakfast – with a candle in it.  So, I decided to do it. 

…then they all went out to play outside and I ate breakfast and made some whole wheat tortillas.  then we all got our bathing suits and rode our bikes to the pool.  It was a little overcast but the sun was good enough to warm us up and I got a little sunburn – even though I put on sunscreen.  Riley also wanted to eat lunch at the pool so I paid $20 for corn dogs and french fries and drinks.  the kids are getting better at swimming so it is much more relaxing than previous years.  Today, there were 2 boys who also go to Tuckaway (the daycare) and the  two boys paired off with them and were having a ball playing.  The family also has a 4 year old boy who is in Logan’s class and Addison and Logan has a ball playing with him and his father in the baby pool. 

…at 1:45 we decided to leave and ride home and when we got home I put the girls down for a nap and turned on the original Bad News Bears – I don’t remember all of the bad language!  but in the meantime, Matthew and Riley started fighting and Riley called Matthew a name that we have been talking about never using so…he went to his bed.  By the time 4:00 rolled around, I was beat and not wanting to do anything but I had told Riley I would allow him to get one toy at Dollar Tree and then we would go to Red Robin for his birthday dinner. 

…so, I am insane but we went.  and then went to Walmart to pick up some things for lunch tomorrow and the cookout with Wendy and Pat on Monday. 

…as we arrived home (finally)Addison peed herself and then had a huge fit…Logan couldn’t remember where she put her bubbles and had a huge fit…Denise called as everyone was melting down…I think that it is about time for bed…
