Okay, I usually don’t fall for alot of things but a couple months ago I was reading this frugal website and they talked about the SWAGBUCKS site.  So I went to it and was very skeptical so didn’t sign up. 

Fast forward a few weeks and another webster was talking about it.  She detailed all of the $ she had “made” on this site over the past year and talked alot about how skeptical she was when she first signed up.  So, I decided to go for it. 

Swagbucks is basically a search engine.  It uses google and Ask databases – so you get a good search.  You can make money a lot of ways, by competing in contests, etc but the simplest thing is to just use the search engine.  Not every time but randomly during the day, if you search, you earn “swagbucks”.  Usually it is $1 but occasionally I win between $2 and $5.  The site keeps track of how many you have and you can turn them in for things.

You can download a SWAGBUCKS toolbar and then it is there for you to use anytime you need to search anything.

For $45 swagbucks you can get a $5 Amazon gift card.  It took me 2 weeks to earn the first one.   It took me 10 days to earn the second.  But, better than that…

Today I bought an immersion blender on Amazon…it cost $29 with super saver shipping and at the end, they took off my $10!  How cool!

There are ways to get a higher number of SWAGBUCKs faster, the most common is to get people to sign in under your name.  For everyone who does, I will get up to $100 (given everytime they search and get swagbucks)…
