What a day!  The temperature was in the high 70’s and sunny.  The kids spent the morning out in the back yard.  It was a little of a mud fest after the snow last week, but they had a ball playing in the mud and sun.  It was warm enough that Matthew took off all his clothes except his underwear! 

Riley wanted to have a picnic outside and so we had chicken nuggest, chips, and orange pieces.  All the kids ate well and then came inside to get a bath.  After baths, the girls slept for 2 hours and Matthew played on the computer and Riley took my guitar outside and “serenaded” me for about 1/2 hour.  If he knew I was listening, he wouldn’t have been singing but, I think he likes how his raspy voice sounds. 

After naps, we all got shoes on and went down the street to the playground and basketball court.  I finally got to sort my coupons and the kids played in the woods and on the playground. 

Home for homemade pizza and now we are all resting before bedtime.  I know I am tired…I hope they are.
