So, dawn lifted on day #2 of snow days with a temperature of 11 degrees and expected high of 34.  The side street had been plowed once but is covered with ice.  School was cancelled and daycare was open!  For $16 a day each extra the boys could go to the daycare all day! Yeah! Mom can go to work and try and get the grant done. 

I arrived at work at 8:30 am and went directly to my office cuz I was sure none of the patients would come.  Instead, when I called to tell them to page me if anyone showed up…they said – “your first patient just showed up!”   – it was amazing to me that 3/4 of the patients indeed showed up despite (or maybe in spite) of the snow.

Still, I was able to get some work done in the afternoon and hope that I can put the final touches on it in the next 2 days.

Tomorrow is another snow day for the schools – but it is supposed to get to 40 degrees …and on Saturday it is supposed to get up to 72.  Thinking the snow will be melted by next week.  Hopefully we will have school one day this week.
