Last time I listened to the weather (on Friday), they were giving a 40% chance of rain and cold(er) than we were having the rest of the week (when it was in the 60’s). So this am, I see on Facebook that one of my friends is hoping for a snow day tomorrow.
…And I’m like – What?? So, I see that they are calling for 3 inches of snow in Richmond. We leave the house around 12:30 to go meet Wendy and Pat at this new shopping center near the airport. We spend about an hour in Sam’s Club and then go to Cracker Barrel for lunch. Then we went grocery shopping and by this time, it is raining cats and dogs.
…Half-way home, the pouring rain turns to snow. By the time we get home there is a 1/4 of an inch of snow on the ground an it is coming down! Right now there are 2 inches of snow on the railing of our back deck and it doesn’t look like it is going to stop anytime soon.
…When we got to the house, the kids were running around and Riley tried to run to help me with the groceries and fell right on his butt…sliding about 5 feet in the process.
…now we are all playing in the house and Addison just walked up to me and said, “Riley pee peed his pants” (from the wet stain on his butt). She went up to him and said…”Riley go change your pants!”
That is hilarious! Tell Riley I said he’s a baby!
